When newcomers join us for Nia, we always invite them to wear comfortable clothes they love moving in. Truly that is the only qualification. If you can move freely in it, if it feels good, it's suitable for Nia. However, many times over the past few years Mel, Juliann and Ann have been asked where they get their Nia clothes -- and we're always happy to share our sources! To that end, here's a quick guide to our favorite dance clothing brands. We'll add new favorites as we find out about them. (BTW: We're not getting paid to recommend these brands. We're just devoted wearers and honestly like them!) Soul of Jiva This is Mel's favorite dance wear brand. The fabric is sturdy and has great compression, and the tailoring is flattering to a variety of body shapes. The company is based in Sweden and offers free shipping to the U.S. However, be aware that if something doesn't fit, you'll have to pay the shipping cost to return the item. Nia Wear Our first fitness-wear love! All of your Move2Center teachers love its flare pants. Nia has largely moved away from the classic styles but a variety of cool leggings and tops sport inspiring mottos and art from each of the latest routines. Nuu Muu
If you've danced with Juliann, Alyssa or Emily, you've seen how flattering these tunics are on a varied of body shapes and sizes. And you can wear them out and about, too! We can't recommend this brand enough! 1/24/2021 10:30:53 am
